Credit Recovery
The Truants' Alternative and Optional Education Program (TAOEP) is designed to offer modified instruction and/or optional education programs to prevent students from dropping out of school, such as by offering Credit Recovery to TAOEP-eligible students at their home schools.
Students not eligible for the TAOEP grant may still participate in Credit Recovery at their home schools' discretion by paying out-of-pocket (at this time, the cost of Credit Recovery courses is $175 for the first semester course and $125 for each semester course thereafter).
Credit Recovery courses are currently made available through the Regional Office of Education #26 in partnership with Edgenuity, an online course program staffed with highly qualified, state-certified instructors.
Click here to download a list of the courses currently offered (note that all courses consist of two semesters unless they are marked with an asterisk which indicates a single semester).
To enroll a student, click here to download and complete the enrollment form and submit via email to ROE #40 ACE Programs.
